Move For Hunger
Coutu Bros. Moving & Storage is very proud to be the first independent mover in all of Rhode Island to join Move for Hunger! Over 43,000 children in Rhode Island are food insecure, and we are proud to help.
When you book your next move with Coutu Bros. Moving & Storage, set aside any non-perishable food items that you would like to donate. When our crew arrives, they will pack up your food and deliver it to the Rhode Island Food Bank. From there, your donations will be off to families in need!
Operation Stand down RI
Coutu Bros. Moving & Storage partnered with Operation Stand Down RI to help veterans secure stable housing and employment as well as other assistance according to individual needs including case management, basic human needs, referrals, and education and training services.
CHILDRENS FRIENDS SPIRIT OF GIVING TOY DRIVE
Partnered with local radio stations 92 PRO FM and Lite Rock 105 to sponsor the Childrens Friend “Spirit of Holiday Giving Toy Drive” at the Warwick Mall. The Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive provides clothing and toys to children and families in Rhode Island who need our help. The Children’s Friend Spirit of Giving holiday drive is unique from other toy and donation drives this time of year because Children’s Friend is actively involved with every child or family who benefits. We are honored to have been able to sponsor this event and transport all the donated toys!
WARM HANDS, WARM HEARTS: WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE
Teamed up with Lite Rock 105 to sponsor the Warm hands, warm hearts winter clothing drive that collected over 800 pieces of winter clothing to distribute to children in need through Providence Community Health Centers. We are grateful for the opportunity to deliver all of the donated winter clothing items!
OPERATION STAND DOWN
Coutu Bros. Moving & Storage has partnered with Operation Stand Down RI over the last 10 years to help veterans secure stable housing and employment as well as other assistance. With our partnership with OSDRI, we have helped hundreds of Veterans in need by providing them with moving services throughout the state of Rhode Island.
